The prevalent lifestyles in Africa that attracts the world

The African Life is unique in itself because of it diversified socio cultural values. Life in Africa is highly interesting and fascinating. The world admires people lifestyle in Africa as it cuts across their religion, art, clothing and music. What we have in Africa is different with what is obtainable in other parts of the world and this is where the uniqueness lies.

African culture is expressed in its arts and crafts, folklore and religion, clothing, cuisine, music and languages (1)

Africa has a rich tradition of arts and crafts. African arts and crafts find expression in a variety of woodcarvings, brass and leather art works. African arts and crafts also include sculpture, paintings, pottery, ceremonial and religious headgear and dress. Maulana Karenga states that in African art, the object was not as important as the soul force behind the creation of the object. He also states that All art must be revolutionary and in being revolutionary it must be collective, committing, and functional (2)

The world is mostly attracted to African arts and craft, their socio cultural life as it concerns marriage ceremonies in a typical African setting. African art has gain popularity and acceptance in the world.

The life philosophy of an average African man is centered in the continuance of his family line. That explains why it is difficult for a man in Africa to keep his wife, if she had not yet giving birth to a male child.

African man works hard to keep food on the table of his dear family, hence he is ever ready to go extra mile in order to see that this is achieved. This makes him a workaholic, and that is why most employers of labour in the western world prefer to employ Africans because they work zealously as though they don’t get tired.

The African culture and ways of life is garnished with multifarious social activities like drumming and dancing which had painted an African man differently. The world is attracted to this likewise, as most tourists are being entertained with this.

Africans are highly productive and very good in Agricultural activities. They are basically known for their commitment in doing that they knows’ best to do like farming.

In the past Africans has shown the world that love and coexistence between all living beings are achievable because in Africa you can still find people cohabiting with animals (primates) that may be considered wild by the western world. The world admires this quality and had learnt from Africa that we can live, love and interact with animals in our eco system.
