NIGERIAN STUDENTS AND COVID 19

The current situation has forced many into living out an unplanned lifestyle. 

Getting up in the morning, finishing up with the normal morning routing and instead of rushing out to catch up with the days’ goal sits back to watch movie or play music; that if there is power supply. Some are over feeding and getting fat. Many are living in confusion and conditionally turning to God puzzled with fear, as they thought, “could this be the end of the world.” Teens are bitterly complaining putting behind the idea that the world could be coming to an end because of the many mouth watering dreams they are looking up to. Most of them were seriously preparing for their WAEC AND NECO examination respectively before the enemy called COVID 19 Invaded the planet, launching it first dreadful attacked on the people of Wuhan China. And thereafter spreading like wildfire ravaging all part of the world. The rest of others were newly admitted into higher institution of learning as they were still fascinated and making efforts to understand their new level of life, of course many institutions were already preparing to matriculate them when the ugly situation began. And that explains why you can hear them saying, writing and even singing, “I AM BORED.”

Hmm, this is not time to sit back and waste reasonable time reading and commenting on post on the social media, neither is it time to waste watching powerful Hollywood, Nollywood and Bollywood movies. Times waits for no one, you remember this, right!!

To the many students who were supposed to have started WAEC examination, wake up turn what is happening now into an opportunity by covering up topics uncovered by your teachers, pick up past questions and solve. Avoid growing cool, bored, disappointed and hopeless. DON’T WASTE THIS TIME, BUT RATHER INVEST IT RIGHTLY. Let it keep ringing inside of you: AFTER THE LOCK DOWN COMES THE SSCE EXAMINATION.

To those who got admission newly, contact your immediate seniors, ask of their study materials and even exam past questions. Study hard with those materials making use of online facilities within your reach as well, this is because many institutions may have little or no choice to rush their academic activities immediately after the lockdown, SO DON’T BE TAKEN BY SURPRISE.
