OUR LEADERS NEED HEALING….

Leadership is paramount in the success story of every country. Be it as it may: we are faced with challenges that have made many look and act as though they were deaf and dumb. The noted is the challenge of leadership because we are yet to have good and self sacrificing leaders. A leader is a person who understands that he is called to serve and not to enslave those he is serving. A leader is a person who makes promises to his people and strives to fulfill them but in most cases the reverse is the case in Nigeria. A leader is one who set quality and life transforming goals and works hard to achieve them: the question is do we have such here in Nigeria. A leader has the best interest of those he is leading in mind just like a good shepherd has always done to his sheep.  A good leader should be ready to give up his life for the safety of those he is leading. It is heart paining that our so-called leaders instead of acting as aforementioned are ready to sacrifice those they are leading for their own safety and comfort. And this is a big error.
The virus of greediness, looting, wickedness, selfishness and unwillingness to listen to the needful plea of their people had stroke our leaders. Nevertheless, it wouldn’t be a gain saying that our leaders NEED HEALING. How do we get them healed? Should we adopt prayers? These are heart troubling questions, but the best answer should come from them who claimed to be our representatives. Because the healing starts only when they decide to have a change of mind, altitude and motive. Only then can they begin to have a better understanding of what they are meant to do as leaders. Their mindset needs to be renewed, when this renewal takes place, they will no longer think and act as before.
Our leaders should think about this…………..
