We have a country, where
every ethnic group is agitating for independence. A country where our leaders’
are maven in speaking, “BIG BIG,” grammars without a proactive practical
realities to solidify them; the country is presently suffocating in the hands
of the so called God-fathers, who have vowed not to let her alone. Her progress
path had been flooded with crimes that left very deep gullies that will
definitely take years to rectify…. The belief in unity has in recent time many
question marks. Having many minds across the border wondering whether the so
called giant of Africa would still be that known, when it shall suddenly tie up
into the obvious un-mixable ethnic groups. Once that happens, the term: Giant of
Africa would be a forgotten ideology, it will then become a TERM belonging to
the archive. When this happens, the sun of greatness shall rise in the East metamorphosing
into the hoped Power of Africa. We
are hoping and believing that someday the country that the Igbos’ is agitating
for will surface….
