WOMEN AND KITCHEN

In the olden days, it was believed that a woman’s education   ends in the kitchen, though women these days; tend to prove this statement to be wrong. But looking deeper we see that a woman without cooking skills is like a cloth that is torn and cannot be used or worn unless something is done to patch up or sow up the torn part for it to be good to be worn again. In the same way a woman who does not know how to cook can be a disgrace to her family, just like a torn cloth can disgrace you when nothing is done to mend it. A woman with good cooking skills is well respected especially when she is of very good and outstanding behavior. It is really getting alarming that girls of these days have very poor cooking skills though it may not really be their faults. Most parents, especially the mothers, are so busy to attend to the needs of their children and teach them what they need know. They leave them in the hands of their house helps without knowing how they are faring and these house helps may end up maltreating those innocent children and subject them to what we commonly know as child abuse. Having a house help is not a bad idea but as a woman you should be the pillar of your home and not your house help. As a woman you should see to the affairs of your children and your family as a whole. As woman you should know what happens in your home especially in your kitchen.
HOW DO I IMPROVE MY COOKING SKILLS
It is said that the easiest way to a man’s heart is through his stomach. Many men today, seek women with good cooking skills for a wife. Many marriages today stumbled because the woman cannot cook. Do not fall a victim of this unfortunate fate.
You can improve your cooking skills through the following way:
v Getting someone to teach you; you can get someone that cooks well to see you through. It can be a relative or even your house help.
v You can register with a catering establishment to train you.
NOTE: As a woman you are the pillar of the home, without you your family will collapse.
