WHERE IN ENUGU? O! YES, IT IS THE TRUTH

In recent time, the population of Enugu had increased following the threats and inhuman acts made upon the igbo’s over there in the North resulting to a massive relocation of the igbo people to the East. This is why a famous round about in Abakpa had always been crowded with people, such as: the passerby’s, traders, hawkers and commercial bus drivers. This is in no doubt an added advantage to the traders because buying and selling had becomes very lucrative as a result of the rising population in the area. 

The roundabout popularly referred to as TEXACO had indeed become a center for business activities, having the Abakpa market close to it. People moving to other parts of the state often have to move down to TEXACO before entering a commercial bus heading to their respective destinations.

The government is hereby advised to see to it that there is adequate security of life and properties in this very area of the state. The government should also ensure the safety of people walking hazardously alongside with the vehicles in the same route; hence they should make effort and construct dedicated  pedestrian cross-over to avert accident and such likes in the area.
