Jigawa State Governor Umar Namadi has announced the appointment of eight new Permanent Secretaries to fill vacant positions in the state's civil service. According to a statement from the State Head of Civil Service, Alhaji Muhammad Dagaceri, the appointees, who were promoted from their previous roles as Directors, are:
1. Abdullahi Sa'idu
2. Yusha'u Muhammad Jaji
3. Lawan Muhammad Haruna
4. Engineer Labaran Adamu
5. Dahiru Lawan
6. Sagir Muhammad Sani
7. Engineer Adamu Isah
8. Muhammad Yahaya Jabo
The appointments, which take effect immediately, were made based on merit, competence, personal integrity, and seniority.
