President Bola Tinubu has given his approval for the appointment of Saleh Abubakar as the new head of the National Agency for the Great Green Wall (NAGGW), according to a statement by presidential spokesperson Ajuri Ngelale. Abubakar, a seasoned public administrator with extensive experience across various sectors, will lead the agency's efforts to empower communities in combating land degradation, enhancing food security, and building climate resilience through sustainable initiatives and education.
